Mattel introduced WellieWishers, an American Girl line geared to kids ages 5 to 7. The 14-inch dolls and accessories will include a theater stage and a wooden playhouse with more than 30 pieces. The line will also include a dress-like-your-doll collection, which is available through American Girl’s catalogue and americangirl.com.
Cra-Z-Art launched Sqand in the U.S and global markets. Sqand allows kids to create, sculpt, and display underwater scenes in a toy aquarium with specially-formulated sand. Out of water, the sand becomes dry. There line includes two different play sets and a refill kit, each sold separately.
Playmobil and Sony Pictures Consumer Products partnered for a toy line based on the original Ghostbusters brand. Set for launch next year, the line will include play sets inspired by the blockbuster classic films.
