Imagine by Rubie’s, a toy division of Rubie’s Costume Company Inc., is expanding its offerings with new products and accessories. Available for children in separates and box sets, every unique ensemble provides kids the opportunity to dress-up as their favorite character 365 days of the year.
This Halloween, Warner Bros. Consumer Products (WBCP) will introduce adult, children, and pet costumes including a fully inflatable Godzilla costume, Dumb & Dumber-inspired dog costumes, and DC Comics superheroes and villain-inspired masks and costumes.
Adults will also be able to dress up as an infamous supervillain from Rubie’s Costume Co.’s Batman Classic TV Series Costume and Mask Collection, as well as characters from the Wizard of Oz and The Hobbit trilogy.
There’s still time to bid on haute couture dolls by high-end fashion and costume designers inspired by Dorothy Gale, Glinda the Good Witch, and The Wicked Witch of the West. These collectible dolls were made for Tonner Doll’s collection of 22-inch dolls in celebration of the 75th anniversary of The Wizard of Oz.
Earlier this month, Warner Bros. Consumer Products (WBCP) and Tonner Doll Company unveiled the 20-doll collection at Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. The collection is now located at Bloomingdale’s 59th Street flagship in New York City for additional public viewing on the third floor until October 9.
The dolls are still available for bidding on eBay Giving Works at wizardofozdollauction.com until Sunday, with proceeds benefiting Habitat for Humanity as part of the There’s No Place Like Home campaign.
In celebration of the 75th anniversary of The Wizard of Oz, Marc Jacobs along with nearly 20 other notable designers like Donna Karan and Herve Leger re-imagined the costumes of iconic leading ladies Dorothy, Glinda, and the Wicked Witch of the West for Tonner Doll’s collection of 22-inch dolls.
They will be available for bidding on eBay Giving Works from September 4 to September 14. Gross proceeds will benefit Habitat for Humanity and Warner Bros. Consumer Products’ “There’s No Place Like Home” Campaign.

There’s No Place Like Home, a year-long campaign celebrating the 75th Anniversary of the classic film The Wizard of Oz, combines fundraising and volunteer efforts to support Habitat for Humanity’s mission to create decent, safe, and affordable housing in partnership with families that would not qualify for conventional home loans across the U.S. The family they built the house for was given a Lego model of Dorothy’s house from the film, and other Habitat families will be given toys courtesy of Fat Brain Toys, which opened its second retail location in Overland Park, Kan., this past May.
CBS will feature plush characters based on the Star Trek franchise. The line is set for release next year, will feature Wage as Captain James T. Kirk, Ox as first officer Spock, Ice-Bat as chief engineer Scotty, Babo as Doctor McCoy, and Tray as communications officer Uhura.
Warner Bros. is set to create plush toys based on The Wizard of Oz. The whole Uglydoll crew–including Moxy, Wage, Jeero, Babo, and Ox–will dress as the iconic characters from the classic film. This series of dolls will be previewed at Licensing Expo this summer and will launch in stores in the fall.
Warner Bros. Consumer Products (WBCP) enters this year’s American International Toy Fair with an extensive lineup of global licensees in support of its entertainment properties, milestone anniversaries, and upcoming theatrical releases.
Bandai America Inc. and Jakks Pacific Inc. will each support Godzilla, from Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures, with new toy lines. Jakks’ line of Godzilla products will include an Ultimate Large Scale Godzilla Figure with 12 points of articulation and a length of over 43 inches, making it one of the largest toys in Godzilla history. Other worldwide partners include Rubie’s Costume Co., NECA, and Sideshow Collectibles.
WBCP’s toy partners will also release toys and collectibles based on The Hobbit Trilogy. The Bridge Direct and Vivid Group will support the film series with new figures. Additional partners include Eaglemoss, Funko, Kosmos, and Ravensburger.

Rubie’s Pet Shop Boutique will introduce new pet costumes into The Wizard of Oz 75th Anniversary Costume Collection. The collection, in partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products, features iconic characters from the film.
The Wizard of Oz 75th Anniversary Costume Collection is available in a variety of pet sizes, ranging from small to extra-large. Characters include Dorothy, Tin Man, Scarecrow, Cowardly Lion, the Wicked Witch of the West, Glinda the Good Witch, and the Winged Monkey. “At Rubie’s Pet Shop Boutique, it is our goal to capture the spirit of these beloved characters and create costumes for the entire family to enjoy, including their pets!” said Erin Breig, Rubie’s Sales and Product Development.
The complete Wizard of Oz 75th Anniversary Costume Collection includes costumes, accessories, wigs, and masks and décor. It is available both online and in retail locations worldwide.
Ruckus Media Group has partnered with Warner Bros. Consumer Products (WBCP) to offer digital downloads of narrated e-books in the U.S. and Canada, beginning with a seasonal selection of titles via the Ruckus universal app for iOS devices.
The Ruckus/WBCP launch will offer a variety of brands, with more than 100 Read-Along titles rolling out in subsequent months. Multiple narrated e-books will be included from brands such as Batman, Looney Tunes, Scooby-Doo, The Wizard of Oz, and more.
Ruckus titles download directly to mobile devices, and they are also commercial-free and airplay-enabled, allowing users to view them on all iOS devices. Should they register for free, parents are provided with feedback on their child’s experiences within the Ruckus app, and kids and parents can also follow word highlighting, as well as read, record, and save their own voices reading the stories.
