The Joester Loria Group partners with Penguin Young Readers Group, The World of Eric Carle Licensees

VHC Day tissueThe Joester Loria Group, the exclusive global licensing agent for The World of Eric Carle, has collaborated with Penguin Young Readers Group on the third annual Very Hungry Caterpillar Day on March 20, celebrated in the U.S. and the UK.

A brand new Very Hungry Caterpillar iOS app, The Very Hungry Caterpillar and Friends Sticker Book, from Night and Day Studios, launched today. The app taps into kids’ creativity and features all of the favorite characters from The Very book series.

  • The Very Hungry Caterpillar will be the featured property of the in school Book It! Programs Give Me 20 Reading Challenge, held from March 4 through April 26, reaching more than 14 million students in 38,000 elementary classrooms annually.
  • The Very Hungry Caterpillar will be visiting Macy’s in Herald Square, New York City for Family Fun day on March 25 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Joester Loria Group Brokers Deals for The World of Eric Carle

The World of Eric Carle has renewed its license with master toy partner Kids Preferred for an additional four years in a deal brokered by The Joester Loria Group.

Kids Preferred has been a partner for more than 7 years with successful programs consisting of plush, plastic, and wood developmental toys in retail accounts including Babies “R” Us, Buy Buy Baby, Kohl’s, Sears, and Barnes & Noble. Kids Preferred continues to develop a wide range of innovative toys that encourage early developmental skills and playful learning for infants and toddlers. New introductions and expanded retail programs this year will include the following Target, Kohl’s, and Babies “R” Us. Chorion Appoints New Licensing Agent

Chorion has picked Haven Licensing to be the agent for its brands Olivia, The World of Eric Carle, and Noddy. The agreement is for Australia and New Zealand. Haven is already sub-agent for Beatrix Potter in the region, and Chorion’s Mr. Men and Little Miss.
