ThinkGeek has announced an innovative new toy to fulfill every wee maker’s dream: the Play-Doh 3D Printer!

DuneCraft Announces Growing Contest

 

DuneCraft will hold its second growing contest from August 1 to December 31 this year. DuneCraft’s goal is to create fun, exciting terrariums grown from seeds that will last for years and to further interest in plants and nature. Prizes include $150 of free DuneCraft products if 200 entries are submitted, and $150 of DuneCraft products and $300 to your choice of selected retailers if 500 entries are submitted. If more than 1,500 entries are submitted, prizes include the above and an all-expense-paid, three-day trip for two to visit DuneCraft and local attractions, including the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the Science Center, the Botanical Gardens, and Cedar Point. Select retailers participating include Michael’s, Toys “R” Us, Hobby Lobby, ThinkGeek, Meijer, and Shopko. All details will be available on the DuneCraft website.

ThinkGeek Unveils iCADE 8-Bitty at Toy Fair

ThinkGeek unveiled its newest product, iCADE 8-Bitty, at the American International Toy Fair in New York. The iCADE 8-Bitty wireless game controller with a classic D-Pad and retro feel, will bring the experience of the iCADE to the pockets of smartphones and tablet users. The 8-Bitty is battery powered, and connects with your device wirelessly. It features a fully-functional directional game pad and eight buttons.

A list of 8-Bitty games includes the Atari Classics collection, Pac Man, Super Mega Worm, and many more. Developers of iOS and Android games can access the public API to make games compatible with iCADE. The iCADE 8-Bitty will be available later this year for $24.99 at ThinkGeek.com.
