When Sons of Anarchy returns to TV screens today, Twentieth Century Fox Consumer Products will have a multi-category global licensing program in place featuring new branded merchandise, including toys from Gale Force Nine and Mezco Toyz.
Gale Force Nine has already introduced Sons of Anarchy: Men of Mayhem, a board game in which players control rival gangs and compete to be the most successful outlaw club. Mezco Toys will introduce branded action figures, plush, and bobble-heads.
Alien: Isolation will include exclusive pre-order bonus content, featuring the vocal talent and likenesses of key cast members of the 1979 Twentieth Century Fox movie, Alien. Sigourney Weaver (who played Ellen Ripley), Tom Skerritt (Dallas), Veronica Cartwright (Lambert), Harry Dean Stanton (Brett), Yaphet Kotto (Parker) and Ian Holm (Ash) are set to feature in two downloadable bonus missions, which allow players to relive classic scenes from the movie.
Anyone who pre-orders the game will get a free upgrade to the Nostromo Edition, which includes the bonus content, Crew Expendable. Players can choose to play as one of three surviving crewmembers, only moments after Brett’s death at the jaws of the creature. A line of 16 Simpsons licensed Lego minifigures will be available in celebration of the 25th anniversary of the television series, The Simpsons. Twentieth Century Fox Consumer Products will launch the collection in May at major toy retailers. A special Lego episode of The Simpsons will premiere May 4th on Fox.
This will mark the first time a licensed Lego minifigures line will be sold in a series.
Sega of America Inc., Sega Europe Ltd., and Twentieth Century Fox Consumer Products will release Alien: Isolation on October 7. Developed by Creative Assembly, it will be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Windows PC.
Alien: Isolation is a first-person survival horror game that evokes Ridley Scott’s 1979 classic film, Alien. Players find themselves stalked by an unpredictable, ruthless Xenomorph creature, and must scavenge resources, improvise solutions, and use their wits to not just complete the mission, but to stay alive.
K’NEX Brands, in partnership with Twentieth Century Fox Consumer Products, has released its first line of officially licensed building toys inspired by the animated comedy series Family Guy. The new product line combines the K’NEX building system with iconic characters and elements from the TV show, and is suitable for kids ages 8 and up.
Buildable Family Guy figure two-packs come in Brian & Meg, Stewie & Lois, and Peter & Chris Buildable Figures. Family Guy: Stewie and Time Machine Building Set includes a buildable Stewie figure dressed in his pajamas, as well as enough K’NEX rods, connectors, and bricks to build his time machine complete with working door. Family Guy: Peter and Station Wagon Building Set includes a buildable Peter figure dressed in his work suit, and enough K’NEX pieces to build a moving replica of the family’s red station wagon, which has a work seat for Peter.
The Lego Group has partnered with Twentieth Century Fox Consumer Products (FCP) to produce a construction set and licensed Lego minifigures inspired by the TV series The Simpsons. Fox will also air a special Lego episode of The Simpsons in May coinciding with the new products. The episode will feature the cast in Lego form.
The construction set will recreate the Simpsons’ family house, including the characters Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, Maggie, and Ned Flanders. It is set to launch in February in Lego stores and the Lego Shop at Home catalog and website. A separate line of 16 Lego The Simpsons minifigures will launch at mass toy retailers in May.
Twentieth Century Fox Consumer Products and Burger King Worldwide Inc. have introduced digitally interactive The Simpsons toys to Burger King Kids Meals. Beginning September 29 in North American and Latin America, Burger King Kids Meals come with one of six unique Simpsons superhero toys, each featuring a superpower brought to life through a digital game.
The Simpsons Kids Meal toys serve as virtual joy sticks that allow kids to interact with the digital game through motion detection technology and the use of a webcam. At bkcrown.com, users can battle a range of villains directly from Springfield, as each character features its own game environment and three levels of increasing difficulty. Players earn points by hitting their targets using their superhero’s unique superpower, which may include throwing pies or shooting radioactive rays. The six Simpsons superheroes include Radioactive Man, Pie Man, Cupcake Kid, Fallout Boy, Clobber Girl, and Stretch Dude.

K’nex Brands has partnered with Twentieth Century Fox Consumer Products to create a new line of building toys inspired by the animated comedy series Family Guy.
The partnership combines the K’nex building system with characters and elements from Family Guy, including Peter, Stewie, Brian, the Griffin Family station wagon, and Stewie’s time machine.
Family Guy, currently in its 11th season, has dominated TV ratings and garnered support from its fans with more than 52 million followers on Facebook. The new K’nex Family Guy building sets will be available at major retailers next spring.
