Jakks Pacific has released its full assortment of collectible figures and role-play items inspired by the Legendary and Universal Pictures‘ new film, Warcraft. The full line of toys features a variety of characters in different scales, representing both the Alliance and the Horde. The line is available exclusively at Toys “R” Us, and will be available at all mass retailers in June, coinciding with the release of the movie.

Jem and the Holograms, a live-action film from Hasbro Inc. and Universal Pictures, will open nationwide on October 23. Based on the classic 1980s series, the film follows four aspiring musicians on their paths to fame. A global licensing program, including toys, publishing, fashion, and beauty products will coincide with the film’s debut.
Jakks Pacific Inc. has been granted the rights to manufacture, market, and distribute a line of consumer products based on the Minions from Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment’s Despicable Me franchise, as well as their upcoming film, Minions, which arrives in theaters in July. The licensing agreement, awarded by Universal Partnerships & Licensing, covers inflatable ball pits, wagons, arcade games, The Original Big Wheel, outdoor children’s furniture, and more. These products are expected to launch at North American retailers this spring.

Toys inspired by the highly anticipated 3-D, CG-animated, comedy-adventure film Despicable Me 2, from Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment, have made their debut at Toys “R” Us stores nationwide and online at Toysrus.com. Through May, Toys “R” Us is the only U.S. retailer to offer an all-new line of toys based on the movie, making it the ultimate Despicable Me 2 destination. Fans eager to get their hands on action and interactive figures, plush, games and more, can find them all at Toys “R” Us.
The movie, which arrives in theaters on July 3, is the sequel to the 2010 Despicable Me, which became the 10th-biggest animated motion picture in U.S. history. Despicable Me 2 sees the return of super-villain Gru and his arsenal of gadgets and gizmos, his adorable girls, and the unpredictably hilarious Minions.
The Uglydoll franchise is set to reach a wider audience via a new animated film by Illumination Entertainment and Universal Pictures. Chris Meledandri, the chief of Illumination Entertainment, saw appeal in the unique Uglydoll design that attracts multiple age groups. The film will be produced by Meledandri and executive produced by husband-and-wife team and Uglydoll creators, David Horwath and Sun-Min Kim. The film marks the beginning of plans for the Uglydoll franchise to eventually break into a larger range of media.
