Lego Group Partners with Warner Bros. Consumer Products on Scooby-Doo Building Sets

Lego ScoobyDooThe Lego Group is partnering with Warner Bros. Consumer Products to develop Lego building sets inspired by animated franchise, Scooby-Doo. Five new building sets will bring characters such as Shaggy, Scooby, and the rest of the gang to life in Lego form for the first time ever.

The sets will include the Mummy Museum Mystery, the Haunted Lighthouse, and the Mystery Mansion. These are scheduled to arrive on store shelves in August.

In related news, there will be a 22-minute, animated Lego special featuring Scooby-Doo, and produced in partnership with Warner Bros. Animation. Warner Bros. Animation will also be producing made-for-video movie titles, which will be released by Warner Bros. Home Entertainment during the coming years.

Bif Bang Pow! Enters Licensing Deal for Mike Tyson Mysteries Collectibles

MikeTysonMysteriesBif Bang Pow! is partnering with Warner Bros. Consumer Products and Warner Bros. Animation (WBA) to release a collection of action figures from the upcoming animated comedy series, Mike Tyson Mysteries, which will premiere this fall. The collection includes a Mike Tyson Mysteries Mike Tyson with Boxing Gloves 8-Inch Action Figure, a convention exclusive for Comic-Con International: San Diego.

This venture between Bif Bang Pow! and Warner Bros. builds upon the companies’ existing partnership for products based on the TV series, The Big Bang Theory. The Mike Tyson Mysteries line will be available to order at Entertainment Earth.

ThunderCats at Toy Fair

Bandai holds the global master toy license for ThunderCats, and the company showcased its upcoming line of ThunderCats-licensed toys at Toy Fair last week. Bandai’s lineup, to launch this fall, will include detailed ThunderCats four-inch figures, the Deluxe ThunderTank vehicle and four-inch Snarf figure, the highly articulated ThunderCats eight-inch Classic Figures, and the ThunderCats Deluxe Sword of Omens.
