Wild Creations to Release Dino Dan Toys

Wild Creations’ Geoworld is bringing Dino Dan toys to the U.S. market this fall. The Dino Dan-licensed products will include excavation kits, prehistoric play sets, fossil replica kits, action figures, and outdoor adventure gear.
Dino Dan debuted on Nick Jr. last October. In each episode of the Sinking Ship Entertainment-produced show, Dino Dan takes viewers on a journey encountering computer-generated dinosaurs and learning all about the prehistoric creatures, their surroundings, and the importance of the scientific method.

Wild Creations Places QR Codes on Packaging

Wild Creations’ products will now feature Quick Response scanner codes to help customers make informed purchasing decisions. Quick Response (QR) codes can be scanned by most smart phones using free, downloadable applications. Shoppers will be able to scan the image of the QR code (like the one above), and then will be whisked away via their mobile devices to different websites where they can read customer or media reviews, see YouTube videos, check out awards, and more. The codes will be available on Wild Creations’ toy boxes.

Wild Creations to Display Real T-Rex Skeleton at Toy Fair!

In a true demonstration of just how wild they really are, science company Wild Creations is having Stan, an actual, real T-Rex skeleton shipped over from Italy, where he is on display in a museum (as dinosaurs usually are). They will be assembling Stan in their booth for all to see. In addition to checking out all of their cool science toys and kits, visitors are invited to visit Booth 5367 to get their photo taken with Stan. Wild Creations will print it so it can be taken home as a souvenir of Toy Fair, to show their store staff or family members that they actually met a real dinosaur.

Unearthed in South Dakota, Stan was hatched in the late Cretaceous period. It is estimated that he roamed the western plains sometime between 65 and 80 million years ago.
