Thames & Kosmos is breaking into the craft category with the debut of Creatto, a line of DIY, light-up crafting kits. Kids can build translucent, 3D sculptures that they can illuminate from the inside out using strings of LED lights.
The first five kits in the line are available in three sizes: mini (Moonlight Elephant Safari and Magical Moose & Forest Friends), medi (Starlight Kitty & Cutie Crew), and maxi (Sparkle Unicorn & Friends and Shimmer Shark & Ocean Pals).Â
Thames & Kosmos will display the full line in a featured showcase at Toy Fair New York in Booth No. 2851, where attendees can test out the Creatto system and take home a Creatto Starfish Promo Pack (while supplies last). Attendees can also view jumbo versions of the shark and unicorn models featured in the two maxi kits.
Toy Fair New York takes place from Feb. 22-25 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center.
