The revival of Cartoon Network’s franchise The Powerpuff Girls made a debut across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) last April. Leading up to this month’s London Toy Fair, Cartoon Network shared details for the launch of the Powerpuff Girls range from global toy partner Spin Master in the UK.
Argos debuted the initial rollout this month, including the Story Maker play set and plush from their online catalogue. A TV and digital campaign supported the launch. The Entertainer will introduce the toy range to its stores and online this month, and will also provide a marketing campaign. The Powerpuff Girls Super Saturdays initiative will see stores filled with branded activities, exclusive discounts, and competitions for four consecutive weeks.
Following the debut of the toy range, a line of apparel, accessories, gifting, homewares, personal care, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), and back-to-school products will also hit shelves this spring.
