The Toy Industry Association (TIA) will be hosting a webinar on advertising spending trends in the toys and games category entitled, “Ad Spending: What Companies Should Know about Competition in the Toy Marketplace.” It will be held tomorrow from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. ET.
The TIA and presenters from Blue Plate Media Services will compare advertising spending from last Christmas through Easter against the past five years, examining total spend by manufacturers and mass and specialty retailers, the number of products supported, and the average annual spend per product. The session will also review media mixes and top media tactics employed across traditional and digital media, with the goal of helping toy companies create successful marketing plans.
