Tic Tac Toy XOXO Launch

Last week, attendees to the Toy Insider‘s 10th Anniversary Sweet Suite event got a first look at Blip Toys‘ new Tic Tac Toy collection. Addy, Maya, Lucy, and Jason — familiar to millions from their YouTube channel, Tic Tac Toy — were on hand to introduce their Tic Tac Toy XOXO Friends and XOXO Hugs in person, happily showing off what’s already shaping up to be a big hit. First reported exclusively at the Toy Book in March, the Tic Tac Toy collection is officially set to launch on Aug. 1, though some stores set product this past weekend, which sources say is leading to some robust early sales from the latest influencer-to-retail phenomenon.

“Walmart and Target are supporting Tic Tac Toy in a tremendous way, as they have seen first-hand the colossal success that influencers can drive at retail. The line of XOXO Friends we’ve designed with Tic Tac Toy replicate the imagination, entertainment, and fun which are the cornerstones of their digital success,” says Bill Nichols, Blip Toys CEO.

Tic Tac Toy’s XOXO Friends provide kids with a unique unboxing experience as they’re led through numbers on the blind boxes that are marked with X’s and O’s to reveal new toys. The collectible Friends include palm-sized characters (some of which resemble Addy and Maya) with colorful, swappable wings, along with accessories, bracelets, and putty.

On Aug. 24, the Tic Tac Toy family will appear at their local Walmart in Franklin, Tennessee for a public meet-and-greet event.
