The company behind Scentos and Whackables has a new executive in the mix.

WeVeel LLC has named Jessica Kubinski as senior vice president of marketing and innovation. In her newly created role, Kubinski will focus on growing the company’s product offerings and global marketing strategy. She joins the maker of toys, crafts, and stationery products from Mekubi Design where she most recently served as executive consultant.

“I’ve had the pleasure of working with Jess for two years at CSS Industries/IG Design Group Americas, I know what she can do and all I can say is ‘watch out world’ — Jess is a high-energy right and left-brained creative that knows how to build and support the team in a way that brings out their best,” says WeVeel CEO Valerie Marderosian. “She has a passion for sustainability [and] her approach to new product development is based on a foundation of consumer insights and trends, cross-collaboration, and product road mapping.”

Kubinski has a long history in the design space having previously worked on projects spanning multiple product categories. She previously served as director of product development and design at Andrews + Blaine and Motions Systems/Betesh Group, Prior to that, she launched craft programs for Martha Stewart, Nickelodeon, American Girl, Disney, and more at EK Success/Wilton Brands.
