WildBrain is serving up something sweet at Licensing Expo in Las Vegas this year.

The media and brand licensing company has inked new licensing, distribution, and promotional partnerships for the beloved Strawberry Shortcake brand. The new opportunities follow the success of Season 1 of Berry in the Big City, with WildBrain dropping Season 2 of the series on the official Strawberry Shortcake channel on WildBrain Spark.

“Since launching this fresh version of our treasured Strawberry Shortcake brand and the new Berry in the Big City series, the response from kids, families and industry partners alike has been amazing,” says WildBrain Chief Brands Officer Michael Riley. “As we prepare to launch 40 more episodes, we’re seeing the new brand gathering significant momentum, as demonstrated by another round of international partners, and we know this is only just the beginning for our all-new Strawberry Shortcake.”

Along with new episodes, WildBrain has signed a new wave of distribution partners for Berry in the Big City, including Peacock, the Roku Channel, Tiny Pop, HOP!, TelevisaUnivision’s Prende TV, Amazon Prime Video, and more.

WildBrain’s dedicated licensing agency, WildBrain CPLG, has also inked new consumer products partnerships for the Strawberry Shortcake brand, including Bentex, Jay Franco, Cotton On, Centric Brands, Boss Fight Studio, and Spirit Halloween. The new raft of licensees joins existing partners, including Moose Toys, Penguin Random House, Unique Vintage, Dolls Kill, and more.

Additionally, WildBrain is celebrating Strawberry Shortcake through promotional partnerships in thousands of retail stores. New signage and packaging features Strawberry Shortcake and her friends on an abundance of fruit, including Orange Blossom on Blood oranges and Strawberry Shortcake herself on Naturipe strawberries. One of the most prominent promotional partners for the brand is Little Debbie, which launched Strawberry Shortcake-branded cakes and snacks in a variety of U.S. retailers.
