To celebrate its 10 year anniversary, PlayMonster’s beloved game 5 Second Rule will release an exclusive anniversary edition and team up with Ellen DeGeneres for a holiday giveaway.
The game asked participants to name three items from a specific category within a five-second countdown such as “Name Three Dog Breeds” or “Name Three Spices.” Designed for the whole family, 5 Second Rule features a junior, family, and adult version for a catered experience each time.
The new anniversary edition of the party game will feature 50 new cards relevant to the last decade with new prompts such as “Name Three Streaming Services” or “Name Three Social Challenges.”
Ellen DeGeneres has been challenging celebrities on her show to rounds of 5 Second Rule for six years now, explaining the partnership between PlayMonster and Ellen Digital Ventures for a giveaway to win a virtual seat at one of Ellen’s 12 Days of Giveaways show. Viewers are challenged to submit their best 5 Second Holiday Glow Up for a chance to win. The giveaway launched on October 23 and will run until November 6.
