PBS KIDS Expands Multi-Year Partnership with Whole Foods

PBS KIDS continues its multi-year partnership with Whole Foods Market with a variety of toys, including a new line of sustainable wooden toys for children. Part of a new licensing partnership between PBS KIDS and Maxim Enterprise Inc., the new collection of PBS KIDS EverEarth products spans multiple product categories for both indoor and outdoor play. Additionally, PBS KIDS will debut eight new plush animals, made by Aurora, available exclusively at Whole Foods Market this holiday season. One hundred percent of the net proceeds from the sale of all PBS KIDS toys at Whole Foods Market will support PBS KIDS’ mission to help all children, and Whole Foods Market will also donate one percent of total sales to Whole Kids Foundation, an organization dedicated to improving wellness and nutrition across the country. PBS Kids and Whole Foods Market’s multi-year partnership continues this holiday season with the launch of new Aurora plush animals and PlanToys wooden toys. The two collections are now available at Whole Foods Market stores nationwide and online at shop.pbskids.org. PBS Kids, National Recreation and Park Association Partner for Explore the Outdoors Campaign

PBS Kids and the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) have partnered again for their annual Explore the Outdoors campaign. PBS Kids will air themed programming and launch online and mobile content beginning April 7 in celebration of Earth Month. PBS member stations and NRPA member parks will also host events throughout the month to encourage families to participate in educational outdoor activities and explorations. In addition to eco-themed programming weeks and the premiere of The Cyberchase Movie, Earth Day themed episodes will play on PBS Kids on April 22. The season 3 premiere of Wild Kratts will begin on April 7, where episodes throughout the week will show the brothers exploring animals throughout the globe.
