nycanime_cosplayday-1Anime NYC, powered by Crunchyroll and presented by LeftField Media, will present three days of programs about the anime industry, gaming, and more at the inaugural show at the Javits Center in New York from November 17 to 19.

More than 20,000 fans are expected to attend, where they will take part in exclusive film and anime screenings, panels with internationally renowned artists and creators, and live musical experiences. The full schedule can be downloaded here.

Highlights from Anime NYC include: a concert featuring anime songs from global artists Yoko Ishida, Chihiro Yonekura, and TRUE; a panel that discusses real-life parallels between the Pokemon universe and our own; a Sailor Moon panel where attendees can meet English voice actors and receive exclusive announcements and sneak peeks; a discussion about cosplaying with disabilities; a panel that introduces key women in Japanese feminist history; cosplay tricks and tricks from Uncanny Megan and YuffieBunny; and a panel designed for parents to help them understand the basics of cosplay and how it can impact their kids’ lives.
