Tastemakers’ Arcade1Up recently vacated the Big Apple and set up shop in the Magic City where it’s quickly forged a new alliance.

The maker of retro-inspired home arcade and pinball machines inked a multi-year deal with the Miami Dolphins to open the Arcade1Up Game Lounge inside Hard Rock Stadium.

“Arcade1Up and the Miami Dolphins have a shared passion to offer the best entertainment experience for their fan base, on and around the field at the stadium,” says  Scott Bachrach, founder and CEO of Tastemaker’s Arcade1Up.

The first-of-its-kind game lounge features 50 3/4-scale retro gaming machines, including Pac-Man, Ms. Pac-Man, Star Wars Pinball, Street Fighter, NBA Jam, Mortal Kombat, Marvel Pinball, Pong, and more.

“We believe in innovation and creating custom experiences for our fans, two areas that are core tenets of Arcade1Up’s strategy,” says Jeremy Walls, senior vice president and chief revenue officer, Miami Dolphins. “Arcade1Up’s move to Miami and this partnership will provide an amazing opportunity for a new generation of our fans throughout South Florida to engage in retro gaming and unique arcade content.”

In other Arcade1Up news, the company opened preorders this week for its TRON Arcade Machine. Disney’s 1982 film TRON was accompanied by a groundbreaking line of arcade machines that featured a distinctive design and glowing flight stick. Now, Arcade1Up brings that magic back with a home version of the classic cabinet.
