The wonderful world of Disney is coming to the Dixit Universe.

Asmodee and board game publisher Libellud revealed plans to release Dixit Disney this fall. The standalone game will incorporate characters and themes from Disney and Pixar films into the Dixit gameplay.

“We’re really excited about this collaboration,” says Libellud Head of Studio, Mathieu Aubert. “Dixit Disney brings together two beloved brands, who share values of creativity, inspiration, and a commitment to quality. This partnership and the opportunity to create artwork from the Disney universe are a dream come true and we cannot wait to bring the game to fans across the globe.”

The game involves storytelling, interpretation, and guesswork. as players reveal a series of 84 cards based on properties ranging from Steamboat Willie to Turning Red. Players must match enigmatic statements to correct images to score points. It took Illustrator Natalie Dombois two years to create the artwork for the game.

Disney Dixit will launch first-to-market at Barnes & Noble in the U.S. this fall.
