Big changes are afoot for Bandai Namco Holdings USA.
The company cut the ribbon and opened the doors to its new, 70,000 square-foot office space in Irvine, California as it brings its various business units together under one roof for the very first time.
“Today is an exciting day and the beginning of a new chapter for Bandai Namco’s long history in the U.S.,” says Shuji Ohtsu, president and CEO of Bandai Namco Holdings USA Inc. “With our new office, we’re excited to be a bigger presence in the Irvine business community and a responsible corporate citizen of this fine city. There’s much work to be done as we bring together our U.S.-based Bandai Namco family under one roof, but it’s a task that we’re all ready and looking forward to taking on.”
With the opening of the new facility, Bandai Namco Entertainment America, Bandai America, and Bluefin Bandai Namco Collectibles will be able to leverage what the parent company is calling “cross-brand development and marketing opportunities.”
This fall Bandai Namco Holdings USA will launch a “PAC-MAN Takes a Bite Out of Hunger” philanthropic campaign with an initial donation of $100,000 to fight hunger in Southern California.
“We look forward to working with the city and local food banks to help end food insecurity amongst children in the community,” says Cynthia Nishimoto, director of the Bandai Foundation.
