A new Barbie series will launch on Netflix on May 3 in the U.S. Barbie Dreamhouse Adventure follows Barbie on adventures with her family and friends with empowered storylines.
Targeted to kids ages 5 to 8, the new show presents a deeper look into Barbie’s life through adventures with her friends and family, expanding on the Barbie Vlogger series. From fun road trips to sister shenanigans, Barbie discovers anything is possible with a little bit of help and a whole lot of laughter.
Through research, Mattel found that both parents and kids responded positively to the new content, which was driven by the relatable characters, relevant storylines, infusion of humor, adventure, and excitement. To keep the storytelling going, the series highlights different themes and Barbie products so kids can recreate the stories off screen.
