The 17th annual Chicago Toy and Game Fair (ChiTAG) is almost ready for lift off.
More than 30,000 attendees will attend the annual holiday kickoff in the Windy City, where they’ll enjoy a playful weekend filled with some of this year’s hottest toys and games from more than 125 exhibitors.
“ChiTAG Fair is Chicago’s original play experience,” says CEO and founder Mary Couzin. “This year, we’re taking the experience to new heights, launching the World’s Largest Kid-Powered Rocket, along with sneak peeks of some of the hottest holiday toys!”
Kids will be invited to help launch the rocket, presented by Kite and Rocket Research, as one of many special activations planned throughout the weekend. Other events include Super Things blind bag sampling and a Gator Golf putting station from Goliath; a Fuzzikins craft station from PlayMonster; demos of My Buddy Wheels and Yvolution scooters; a Frozen 2-themed scavenger hunt with Jakks Pacific; a public showcase for Hasbro’s interactive D-O Droid from Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker; an appearance by the Oscar Meyer Wienermobile; and more.
The 17th annual ChiTAG takes place Saturday, Nov. 23 and Sunday, Nov. 24, at Chicago’s Navy Pier (600 E. Grand Ave.) capping off the annual Chicago Toy and Game Week.
