Cloudco Entertainment promoted a pair of executives into senior roles across its licensing and marketing business.

Los Angeles-based Cristina Villegas, who joined Cloudco last year following a 20-year run at The Walt Disney Co., has been promoted from director to vice president of North American Licensing. Over the past year, Villegas has played a role in the growth of licensing partnerships and brand collaborations for the Care Bears and Madballs brands in the U.S. and Canada.

As Vice President, Cleveland-based Kristeen Tibbets will now lead Cloudco’s marketing and social media efforts. Tibbits most recently served as a senior creative executive while simultaneously managing social media and YouTube content development, production and strategy for brands including Care Bears, Holly Hobbie, Tinpo, Madballs, Buddy Thunderstruck, and Boy Girl Dog Cat Mouse Cheese.

“Everyone, starting with me, feels beyond lucky to have Kristeen and Cristina as colleagues,” says Cloudco President Sean Gorman. “Both of them have earned these promotions with their specific talents, skills, and professionalism, but they shine even further as smart, fun, and driven-but-down-to-earth leaders with whom everyone loves collaborating.”

Cloudco is currently gearing up to support the fall launch of a new Care Bears toy line from Basic Fun! in addition to releasing a host of new TV and streaming content from several of its brands.
