Crayola, the company well-known for its crayons and many other crafting items, and Dan Dee, a plush maker, are partnering to bring plush experiences to the Crayola lineup.
The licensing agreement is expected to include plush, home decor, and additional products that combine Crayola’s crafting and Dan Dee’s plush design, such as the Color Me plush that kids can draw on directly with washable markers. The new products are already available within the territories of EMEA, Australia, and New Zealand.
“As we expand our licensing portfolio, it is a pleasure to welcome Dan Dee to the Crayola family as one of the biggest plush design and manufacturing brands in the world. Their extensive knowledge of this category and experienced design team have proved to be extremely valuable in the development and execution of the new Crayola Color Me Plush range,” says Rob Spindley, Licensing Director, EMEA at Crayola. “Our primary goal at Crayola is to inspire creatively alive children, and with this new product range, we’re giving children new ways to express themselves and celebrate their individuality as often as they like!”
The companies have expressed additional plans to expand the territory of the partnership as well as release even more new products in additional categories.
