TOMY International is bringing a lot to the Dallas Toy Fair.
The company introduced three new properties at the fair that will come on the market next year: Yumi Ami, Peeky Pops, and Bebé Fuerte.
Yumi Ami is an inclusive line of dolls that features five dolls from different cultures. Recommended for kids ages 3 and up, the dolls will be sold in bundles with a book that encourages learning about other cultures. The line will be available in July.
“With the addition of the book, children will learn about each girl and how they interact with each other,” says Julie Gwaltney, senior director at TOMY International. “The stories not only share a bit about each girl’s culture, but also reflect confident young girls who can achieve anything they want to. We developed this line to be both inclusive and empowering for preschool girls.”
Peeky Pops is a selection of collectible fidget toys that will be marketed by TikTok influencers. The line will feature eight characters in total.
Bebé Fuerte is a collaboration with author Robin Arzón. The line’s eight products are influenced by Arzón’s Cuban-Puerto Rican heritage and will include Spanish words and phrases for parents to teach kids. The packaging will also be bilingual. The line will be available to retailers next fall.
“I’m a strong believer in the power of movement for all ages,” Arzόn says. “Watching my daughter Athena use movement as play inspired the vision behind Bebé Fuerte. I’m so excited to bring this collection to life with fun, vibrant toys and inspire families to move together.”
Other products TOMY International is showing at Dallas Toy Fair include Star Trek diecast ships and figures, Club Mocchi plush toys, Toomies Peppa Pig toys, and more.
