Danica McKellar is teaming up with Learning Resources to host a free, live learning experience on Instagram Live for families with kids ages 5-10.

You may remember her as the ‘80s and ‘90s girl-next-door Winnie Cooper from The Wonder Years, and it just so happens, she’s also a math wiz! McKellar has written tons of books to help kids of all ages learn about math, and she even has a mathematical physics theorem named after her (the Chayes-McKellar-Winn Theorem).

The two-part educational event will teach kids fun coding concepts. The event will take place today (Wednesday, May 20), at 4 p.m. EDT on McKellar’s Instagram Live (@danicamckellar). During the interactive experience, viewers can ask questions and chat live with McKellar, who will also share advice, DIY projects, and experiments that families can enjoy at home. Part two will continue next week.

Learning Resources will make a donation of $25,000 in educational toys to the Kids in Need Foundation in partnership with McKellar. Families can visit learningresources.com to find 3,000 free activities, videos, DIY projects, and more ideas on how to stay entertained at home.
