Some familiar characters from the Neighborhood of Make-Believe are coming to Storypod.
9 Story Brands inked a deal with Storypod under which the screen-free audio entertainment platform will introduce new products based on Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, the Emmy Award-winning series from Fred Rogers Productions. Storypod is a 360-degree speaker that kids can use to listen to classic and original stories, songs, and rhymes that are activated using 3.5-inch yarn figures called Crafties.
A Daniel Tiger Craftie toy will be released later this year alongside Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood-branded learning cards and Storypod sleeves.

The Storypod Starter Kit is available now and includes an omnidirectional speaker, removable mesh sleeve, the original Craftie Fox yarn character with original stories in English and Spanish, a read-along audio-booklet The Adventures of Craftie Fox, an iCraftie Owl — that parents can use to record up to 100 minutes of audio — and a lanyard for portable play.
Beyond the deal for Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, Storypod also inked a multibrand deal for PBS KIDS properties that will join the edutainment platform in the months ahead.
