It’s time for a Daniel Tiger takeover!
Fred Rogers Productions — the kids’ entertainment company behind the PBS Kids series Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood — and 9 Story Brands have finalized a handful of licensing partnerships to bring a ton of new merchandise to preschoolers.
The product range will span apparel, publishing, and toys, including goods from Best Ride-On Cars, Children’s Apparel Network, Cottage Door Press, Fisher-Price, Hybrid, M&M Sales, Peejamas, Simon & Schuster Children’s Publishing, Steel City Apparel, and Zappos.
Parents can look forward to the Daniel Tiger Fisher-Price 3-in-1 Potty Training Set this fall, featuring a potty chair with a removable seat that fits on full-sized toilets, a fold-down lid that transforms into a step stool, and activated sound effects and music from the series.
Simon & Schuster Children’s Publishing is making Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood one of its top preschool properties with the release of new storybooks, Ready-To-Read titles, picture books, boxed sets, and more. The books will include Naptime in the Neighborhood, Daniel’s First Day of School, Daniel Plays in a Gentle Way, and Daniel Goes Camping.
Cottage Door Press already released the board book Let’s Look with Daniel and Friends and will introduce other titles later this year.
Best Ride-On Cars will launch floor-to-foot ride-ons, M&M Sales will launch a play tent and swing, and parents can expect new apparel from Children’ Apparel Network, Hybrid, Peejamas, Steel City Apparel, and Zappos.
All items will hit stores this year, with the exception of Zappos’ adaptive clothing for kids with special needs, which will be available early next year.
