Discovery will launch a new STEM shop at the new FAO Schwarz NYC Flagship Store under its new brand extension, Discovery #Mindblown.
The flagship store opens Friday, Nov. 16 at 30 Rockefeller Plaza in New York. The new Discovery #Mindblown Shop will feature a line of gender neutral, STEM-based toys created with Merchsource. The shop will also be stocked with favorites from the Discovery kids toy line. In addition the shop within the flagship store, Discovery #Mindblown products will be available on FAO.com.
The Discovery #Mindblown shop will be an immersive retail experience featuring more than four dozen products sold in a modern science laboratory setting, complete with a sales associate professor demonstrating the latest in STEM toys. The shop will also feature a flat panel video screen highlighting content and a selfie wall displaying the NYC skyline with a whale breaching the skyline.
Some of the toys that the #Mindblown Shop will offer include the DIY Train Magnetic Levitation, Solar Vehicle Construction Set, DIY Robotic Arm with Hydraulic, Experiment Kit Exploding Book, DIY Lip Balm, Kids Model Engine Kit, Globe 2 in 1 Day and Night Earth, Mini Lab Slime-o-Rama, Mini Lab Soap Making Kit, Kids Science Rocket Kit, Experiment Kit Stink Bomb, Plasma Orb 6-inch, Space and Planetarium Projector, and Building Kit Robot Chameleon.
The Discovery non-STEM toys featured in the shop will include Toy Night Goggles, a Toy Kids Starlight Lantern, and more.
