Disguise Inc. is expanding its presence in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) as part of its overall move to increase its footprint around the world.
The fast-growing division of Jakks Pacific entered into a strategic distribution partnership with MorphCostumes. Under the new agreement, MorphCostumes will market, sell, and distribute licensed costumes from Disguise throughout EMEA. The company will distribute costumes based on LEGO, Nintendo, Minecraft, and Microsoft Halo, with additional licensed brands to be announced.
“We have been actively pursuing our objective of growing our licensed costumes sales in Europe,” says Tara Hefter, executive vice president and general manager, Disguise. “EMEA is a key part of our overall international growth strategy and MorphCostumes is a strong partner who shares our commitment to quality and customer excellence, while providing expertise in fancy dress up and costumes in Europe. While we have always been a powerhouse for Halloween in North America, it is our goal to provide costumes globally for incremental dress up occasions like Carnival and World Book Day.”
An increased selection of Disguise costumes will be available on Amazon in Europe in time for Halloween this year.
