Earth Rated has expanded its line of sustainability-minded dog products with a new five-piece dog toy line.
The new collection includes toys for chewing, fetching, and tugging, plus a flying disk toy and a toy to dispense treats to dogs. The chew and tug-of-war toys are made with rubber certified by the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification, which is a non-profit, non-governmental organization that promotes sustainable forest management. The collection also emphasizes the color yellow, one of a few shades detected by dogs.
“We know that nothing is more effective in forging a deeper bond with our dogs than the power of play,” says Ram Chittur, Earth Rated Director of Innovation. “From intuitive and ergonomic shapes to the use of yellow, a color seen by dogs, this collection offers a better way to play.”
Founded in 2009, Earth Rated has previously offered products focused on dog care, such as eco-friendly poop bags, grooming wipes, and dispensers, composed of 65% certified post-consumer recycled plastic.
