It’s mid-February, and usually, the toy industry would be getting ready for the doors to open at Toy Fair New York. While the famed event is taking the bench for the second year in a row, the big reveals cannot be stopped. New toys and entertainment content are on the way and will not be held back, and that brings us to one of the biggest reveals of the digital toy fair season.
The Toy Book and Marvel Entertainment have teamed up to assemble a first look at a robust lineup of new toys, collectibles, and more inspired by the second season of Mech Strike on Marvel HQ. In Marvel Mech Strike: Monster Hunters, Thanos has fallen and the Avengers are facing a new threat — Doctor Doom and a new team of Marvel’s most notorious super villains, monstrously transformed by the eye of a mythical beast. To fight them, the Avengers have to mech up, monster style.
Coming soon, the story will unfold as Marvel Mech Strike: Monster Hunters will premiere its motion comics series, “The Eye of Doom,” on Marvel HQ. New episodes will debut regularly and will be backed by a host of family-friendly content exploring the world, battles, and science of Marvel monsters with weekly drops — available in multiple languages for fans around the world — through September. A first look at “The Eye of Doom” will debut tomorrow on the Marvel HQ YouTube Channel.
In the months ahead, Marvel fans can look for an extensive range of products from The LEGO Group, Hasbro, Funko, and more. These products will be first-to-market at Walmart in North America and Smyths in the UK and Europe. Check out the galleries below for a preview of what you’ll find in the toy department.

Comics and Beyond
Marvel Mech Strike: Monster Hunters expands to include a new limited comic book series that will begin hitting local comic shops in June. Written by Christos Gage and drawn by Paco Diaz, the new series will find the Avengers donning new mech armor to battle a trio of the world’s most notorious super villains, led by Doctor Doom and monstrously transformed by the Eye of the Kraken. In order to defeat their foes, the Avengers must undergo a similar transformation and become monster hunters! But will the heroes be consumed by their dark new powers? The series will feature classic Avengers characters and some surprising new additions to the team, all outfitted in their very own mech armor. Additional details on the series and its art will be revealed in the future.
Additionally, the Toy Book has a look ahead with some additional Mech Strike artwork and badges that will be released on apparel and home décor products in the months ahead.
