Registration for the Toy Industry Association’s (TIA) annual Fall Toy Preview has started out strong, with more than 200 buyers from global retail outlets already signed up to attend the preview show, to be held in Dallas on October 6 to 8. Representatives of global retailers and toy sellers—including buyers from GameStop, Toys “R” Us, and more—will be on-site to browse hundreds of brands with one or more lines slated for the fourth quarter of next year.
According to the TIA, 20 percent of registered buyers are international, with Canada, Australia, Mexico, Spain, and the UK ranking in the top five countries represented thus far. In addition to mass and long-lead buyers, the show will open its doors to specialty retailers. Major licensors will be in attendance as well, including Disney Consumer Products, Mattel, and Nickelodeon.
Attendee registration for Fall Toy Preview is currently open, and buyers and trade guests may register online. Exhibitor registration will open in July, and additional information, including hotel details, is available on the Fall Toy Preview website.
