LJN’S new Thundercats assortment for 1986 utilizes innovative technology and new characters that will enhance the collectibility of the Thundercats line. The Thundercats assortment includes six good and six evil characters, each of which has Battle-matic movement and weapons. The Mutant assortment consists of S-S-Slithe, Monkian, Jackalman, Vulturemen, Grune the Destroyer, and Rataro.

A new addition for 1986 is the mighty Thundercats Fortress. The fortress is a playset and electronic, three-dimensional arcade game in one. The Cat’s Lair also features a trap floor and underground prison cell and cat’s claws that open and reveal weapons and room for additional figures.
