This is the way … to 34th Street.

Funko, in collaboration with Lucasfilm and Macy’s, is bringing Grogu (aka “Baby Yoda”) to the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. The breakout star of the live-action Star Wars series The Mandalorian will fly high above the streets of New York City as a Funko Pop!-inspired balloon on Thursday, November 25, 2021.

“Connecting one of pop culture’s most recognizable characters from one of the biggest entertainment brands in the world with one of our nation’s most beloved holiday traditions is truly a moment in pop culture history that will be remembered by Funko fans and millions of other viewers,” says Funko CEO Brian Mariotti.

The Pop! Grogu balloon measures 41-feet high, 29-feet long, and 37-feet wide. The helium-filled depiction of the Force-wielding child joins a lineup of iconic pop culture characters that will tower over the streets of Manhattan as balloons among floats, celebrities, musical acts, and Santa Claus.

The lineup includes Funko Pop! Bobbleheads, Deluxe Pop! Bobbleheads, a Pop! Keychain, and a hooded sweatshirt and T-shirt for kids and adults.

The 95th Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade airs on NBC from 9 a.m. to noon in all time zones.
