German Toy Maker Schleich Teams Up with Levine Children’s Hospital

Schleich USA Inc., the German-based creator of soft plastic figurines and collectibles, has formed a partnership with Levine Children’s Hospital and has donated 500 toys to the hospital.

The Schleich USA Inc. headquarters and distribution center recently relocated to Charlotte, N.C. from Ottawa, Ontario Canada and is located in 125,000 square feet of office space at 10000 Twin Lakes Parkway in North Charlotte. With more than 4,000 employees worldwide, Schleich produces more than 50 million figurines a year. What started out as comic figurines in the 1950s including The Smurfs, Snoopy, and The Muppet Show characters has expanded to include animals.
