Greenlight Collectibles, StudioCanal Ink Deal for ‘Terminator 2: Judgment Day’ Die-cast

The famous rides featured in James Cameron’s Academy Award-winning Terminator 2: Judgment Day (T2) will soon roll into the die-cast aisle.

Greenlight Collectibles inked a new deal with Studiocanal via Creative Licensing Corporation to produce and distribute replica vehicles in 1:18, 1:43, and 1:64-scale. Greenlight previously released vehicles from The Terminator (1984) under its Greenlight Hollywood lines.

“The first installment in the Terminator franchise has been a great success in Greenlight’s iconic Hollywood lines, and we expect nothing less for T2,” says Cale Hotton, director of licensing and product development for Greenlight. “Everyone at Greenlight is excited to add Terminator 2 and the opportunity to build on the great success that we have had with the Terminator franchise.”

The first offerings from T2 will include a 1:18-scale Chevrolet Camaro Z/28, a 1:18-scale Artisan Collection 1980 Ford LTD Country Squire, and a 1:43-scale 1987 Chevrolet Caprice Metropolitan Police car. Additionally, a 1:64-scale version of the police car will appear in series 29 of the long-running Greenlight Hollywood collection.
