Today, as part of its two-day Pulse Con virtual fan event, Hasbro revealed plans for its first line of non-fungible tokens (NFTs), partnering with The Worldwide Asset eXchange (WAX).
This collection will be available for a limited time exclusively from the Hasbro Pulse website and will feature characters from the Power Rangers franchise. (This is a first for NFTs, which have not previously been offered on a mainstream e-commerce platform like Hasbro Pulse.) In addition to getting a digital collectible, anyone who purchases a Power Rangers NFT will also receive a special-edition, physical collectible: the Lighting Collection Zord Ascension Project Special Edition Dino Megazord.

The Power Rangers NFT drop will be available starting today, Oct. 22, with an exclusive window for Hasbro Pulse Premium members from 4-5 p.m. ET. Then, the collection will open to the general public at 5 p.m. ET. These NFTs will be available until this Sunday, Oct. 24 (while supplies last — there will be 4,000 packs in total). Shoppers will need to have a WAX account to purchase the NFT and to receive a redemption coin for the Megazord collectible. Those coins will be deposited on Nov. 1 and must be redeemed by Nov. 7.
Hasbro’s Pulse Con event is streaming live today and tomorrow on the Hasbro Pulse YouTube channel. Additional details about the event and this new NFT collection are available at hasbropulse.com. Hasbro is the latest toy company to offer digital collectibles featuring its popular toy properties, following Funko, Mattel, MGA Entertainment, and more.
