Hasbro unveiled two figures to celebrate Mando Mania, weekly reveals of new toys and merch inspired by the latest season of The Mandalorian, which debuted on Disney+ on March 1. In addition, a new Boba Fett figure joins the lineup, inspired by his appearance in The Book of Boba Fett, which premiered on Disney+ in 2021.
STAR WARS THE BLACK SERIES R5-D4
After bouncing around on Tatooine for decades having been rejected by Uncle Owen, R5-D4 has finally found a home with Peli Motto in Docking 3-5 of Mos Eisley Spaceport. Inspired by his appearance on The Mandalorian, the astromech droid figure is 6 inches tall and includes five accessories — one of which is an antenna. Fans and collectors can use their imagination to display the figure in numerous different poses. MSRP: $24.99
STAR WARS THE VINTAGE COLLECTION R5-D4
This version of astromech droid R5-D4 features a design pulling inspiration from the original Kenner line. Both long-time and new Star Wars fans and collectors can enjoy the 3.75-inch-tall figure. MSRP: $16.99
STAR WARS THE VINTAGE COLLECTION BOBA FETT (TUSKEN)
Robbed of his armor after a narrow escape from the Sarlacc pit, bounty hunter Boba Fett earns the respect of his Tusken captors and learns about their customs along the way. Inspired by his appearance in The Book of Boba Fett, this 3.75-inch-tall figure features design and packaging based on the original Kenner line. Includes blaster pistol, blaster rifle, and staff. MSRP: $16.99
Both R5-D5 figures are scheduled to release in spring 2024. The Vintage Collection Boba Fett will be available this summer. Select “fan channel” specialty retailers will begin offering consumer preorders for the new figures beginning at 1 p.m. today. The products will be available at most major retailers and select specialty retailers upon launch.
