Transformers Fan Vote 2020 Decepticons

The War for Cybertron is about to expand, and this time it’s happening on Facebook.

As Hasbro nears the midpoint in its 35th anniversary celebration for the iconic Transformers brand, the toymaker is looking ahead to next year for the expansion of its War for Cybertron line. The annual fan vote will officially kick off on June 13, with four Decepticon villains in the running to become an all-new action figure as part of the 2020 War for Cybertron lineup. The hidden characters will be revealed at 9 a.m. EST on June 13 when voting officially opens. Fans can cast their votes by naming their favorite Decepticon in the post comment section.

Hasbro will keep voting open for just 48 hours, and will limit voting to one vote per user and a one character name per vote limit.

The winning vote will be announced on social media on July 17 just as Comic-Con International: San Diego (SDCC) gets underway.

Additionally, this year’s #MoreThanMeetsTheEye social campaign continues with a new video featuring Transformers design manager John Warden. In the video, John details his experience not just with Transformers lines, such as the Studio Series and War for Cybertron, but as a youth volunteer working with more than 20 kids on a local farm.
