ICTI Care is developing a program to further support toy manufacturers in India in partnership with Impactt, which has been working across the subcontinent for the past 20 years with suppliers across a range of industries.
ICTI Care and Impactt co-created a 12-month incubator program to further strengthen ICTI Care standards in India and work towards a shared vision of an internationally competitive toy industry. The program will work toward delivering enhanced resources and capacity building to Indian suppliers that will allow the expansion of ICTI Care certification and develop responsible sourcing standards in the country.
Key features of the incubator program include a comprehensive legal review resulting in a user-friendly guide to the ICTI Care code for a supplier with a focus on Indian law. Impactt and ICTI Care will also work closely to deliver capability-building programs to the needs of Indian toy manufacturers.
