ICTI Ethical Toy Program (IETP) is expanding its geographic goals.
IETP announced its plans to support 30,000 kids by expanding its Family-Friendly Factory (FFF) program outside of China for the first time. After securing funding from key partners such as LEGO and Spin Master, the FFF program will begin operations in Vietnam later this year and in Mexico in 2024.
This round of funding will let IETP further develop workplace policies and open childcare spaces all over the world. IETP aims to grow its efforts to announce more locations as the program develops and needs are identified in other geographies.
“I am incredibly proud of what we achieved so far and excited for the future of the Family-Friendly Factory program,” says Carmel Giblin, President and CEO of IETP. “The mission of the Ethical Toy Program is to help improve the lives of workers, their kids, and their communities. We are achieving this through a ground-breaking commitment to worker well-being, by developing a supportive working environment that will benefit working parents and carers both personally and professionally.”
IETP is currently inviting funding from brands that wish to join its efforts in supporting 30,000 kids by 2025.
