iHeartMedia, a leading audio media company, plans to make a multimillion-dollar investment in Zigazoo Kids, a social media brand that focuses on healthy screen time.
Through the two-year deal, the two companies will explore opportunities between iHeartMedia’s music portfolio and Zigazoo’s content.
Zigazoo supplies family-friendly digital content with investors like the NBA, Serena Williams, Jimmy Kimmel, and the D’Amelio Sisters. The platform is dedicated to creating a safe digital space for users, especially younger users. Zigazoo has featured musical guest stars like Jojo Siwa, Dave Matthews, and Ludacris. The partnership will aim to create a direct line between the audio company’s music and podcasts to Zigazoo’s roster of superstars.
iHeartMedia’s multimillion-dollar marketing investment in Zigazoo will aid the platform’s growth and innovation. iHeartMedia will launch a national campaign across its multiplatform audio network — spanning broadcast radio, podcasts, digital, social, and live events — to propel Zigazoo’s social media networks and highlight the brand further.
“Welcoming iHeartMedia as a strategic investor and partner marks an inspiring new chapter for Zigazoo,” says Zak Ringelstein, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Zigazoo. “We understand how the power of music brings families together, and we are excited to lead the next generation on that road of discovery.”
“Our values at iHeartMedia include innovation and curiosity, and Zigazoo has created a hub where those values take precedence around the globe,” says Joe Robinson, President of Corporate Development and Ventures at iHeartMedia. “Our goal is to continue to create deep and engaging relationships with audiences through audio and human companionship, and this partnership will allow us to tap into where the human experience starts.”
