JAM Media named Jakks Pacific as global master toy licensee for Becca’s Bunch, following the animated series’ premiere on Nick Jr. U.S. on September 24.

Jakks Pacific secured the exclusive global rights to produce figurines, play sets and accessories, vehicles, musical instruments, feature and non-feature plush, every day dress-up, role play, arts and crafts, board games and accessories, Halloween costumes and accessories, outdoor/indoor furniture, wagons, ride-ons, play tents, ball pits, balls, and outdoor games based on the children’s show. Plush, figurines, musical instruments, vehicles, and play sets are planned for launch at U.S. retail next fall.

Jakks Pacific joins previously signed Becca’s Bunch licenses Candlewick Press and Egmont. Candlewick has publishing rights for the U.S., while Egmont is signed on for publishing in the rest of the world. Both companies are planning a retail launch in key territories next fall.

Nickelodeon secured exclusive broadcast rights to the series in the U.S. and pay-TV rights for the rest of the world. Becca’s Bunch premiered on Nick Jr.’s international channels and platforms in July. In addition, terrestrial broadcasters ABC Australia, CBC Kids (Canada), and France Télévisions (France) have picked up the series for their respective countries.

Becca’s Bunch stars a cast of handmade puppet characters and features more than 4,000 individually crafted props and set pieces. The series merges live-action footage, puppetry, 2-D animation, and CG animation. The show centers around Becca, a little bird who loves helping her Wagtail Woods neighbors.
