Konami Digitial Entertainment Co. has named Kristen Gray as the President of its New York-based Konami Cross Media NY. Gray is succeeding Yuta Kose who has been named President of the Los Angeles-based Konami Digital Entertainment.
Gray has recently served as the General Manager, Senior Vice President of Operations, and Business & Legal Affairs at Konami. In that position, she oversaw the resurgence of the Yu-Gi-Oh! brand in territories outside of Asia and spearheaded the business development for the gaming IPs Contra, Bomberman, and Frogger. She is the Executive Producer of the new Frogger gameshow that will stream on Peacock this fall.
Before working with Konami, Gray oversaw the programming block on the CW and production at 4Kids Ent. She was instrumental in negotiating the acquirement of Yu-Gi-Oh! for Konami and led to the start-up of Komani Cross Media NY.
Kose was named president of Konami Cross Media NY in 2019. In his position, he was responsible for launching full media mix strategies based on the company’s video games for the global market.
Konami Cross Media NY will continue to focus on building and managing its creative property through a 360-degree approach.
