Licensing International is getting into the spirit of giving ahead of the holiday season.
The trade organization has named Delivering Good as its nonprofit organization of choice for product donations.
Delivering Good donates clothing, toys, books, furniture, home goods, and more to families who endure economic, social, environmental, and medical hardships. The nonprofit’s donations have totaled $3 billion since 1985.
Licensing International will be supporting over 1,500 member companies partnering with Delivering Good, and the organization will also include a clause in its licensing agreements that highlights the nonprofit as the recipient of any unused products.

“The Delivering Good team looks forward to working with the Licensing International membership to connect their excess inventory with children, adults, and families across the country and beyond who are struggling with poverty, natural disasters, and other challenges. Through a partnership with Delivering Good, companies are offered a responsible way to deal with surplus product that also helps address a range of social issues, providing relief, comfort, and dignity. Together we will ensure excess merchandise ends up in the hands of people who need it, instead of landfills,” says Matthew Fasciano, President and CEO of Delivering Good.
The partnership also gives hope for a sustainable future, as the excess inventory will now be donated rather than discarded. For 60% of consumers, this is a highlight of the partnership.
