Licensing International appointed Bill Burke to the role of senior vice president marketing strategy and communications.

Burke is a global licensing veteran with more than 20 years of experience, most recently serving as senior vice president of marketing for CBS Consumer Products. Over the past 13 years, Burke led global marketing, retail, international licensing, and licensing operations for brands including Star Trek.

“We are excited to have Bill join the team,” says Maura Regan, president of Licensing International. “Bill’s deep industry relationships coupled with his acute marketing savvy will be a huge boost to Licensing International’s mission to advance the business of our members and elevate our industry to the broader business community.”

Prior to his work at CBS Consumer Products, Burke developed strategies for brands including Thomas the Tank Engine, Bob the Builder, Barney, and The Wiggles at HIT Entertainment. He previously developed licensing partnerships for Sesame Street and Dragon Tales at Sesame Workshop.
