Little Critter to be Developed Into Global Entertainment Property

unnamedMercer Mayer and Little Critter LLC have signed an agreement for Little Critter to develop into a global entertainment brand.

John R. Sansevere will lead the creation of animated content for multiplatform distribution and the development for a strategic global licensing and merchandising program across multiple categories. Little Critter LLC has also retained Stuart Snyder, former president/COO of Turner Broadcasting System’s Animation, to provide guidance and support across all elements of the project in efforts to help grow the brand in all formats.

Over 40 years, Little Critter has been translated into eight languages, sold in 10 countries, and has been featured in more than 300 books and more than 200 million copies sold worldwide.  A CG-animated series is currently in development. Set in Critterville, the series will be populated with a diverse cast of animal characters and focuses on neighborhood adventures and the challenges of growing up.
