LOL Surprise Monopoly

At the close of this year’s Hong Kong Toy Fair last month, MGA Entertainment CEO Isaac Larian revealed that Hasbro chief Brian Goldner did a licensing deal for an L.O.L. Surprise! Monopoly game. Less than six weeks later, Hasbro Gaming unveiled a look at the game ahead of Toy Fair New York. First shown at Popsugar Family, L.O.L. Surprise! Monopoly rebrands the classic gameboard in pink and pastel, with properties swapped for L.O.L. Surprise! dolls, and governmental inconveniences replaced with taxes on naps and glitter. Jail is still an option, but players can still collect money for passing “go.” Perhaps the best part? The six included tokens come in blind bags to fully embrace the element of surprise that L.O.L. is famous for.

Hasbro Gaming recently release licensed Monopoly games inspired by HBO’s Game of Thrones, Nintendo’s Mario Kart, and Epic Games’ Fortnite.

L.O.L. Surprise! Monopoly will be available to retailers this spring.
