MGA Entertainment (MGAE) continues to grow its Operation: Pac-Man initiative, a nonprofit effort to support healthcare providers during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The company revealed plans to release a limited-edition L.O.L. Surprise! PhD B.B. doll that will both honor healthcare workers and raise funds. MGAE says that $1 from each doll sold will benefit Operation: Pac-Man, which is providing personal protective equipment (PPE) to hospitals and other facilities where it’s needed.

“We are creating a way for moms, dads, kids, families to participate in the global fight to stop the spread of COVID-19,” says Isaac Larian, CEO and founder of MGA Entertainment. “While this pandemic will pass, we want to help moms and dads talk to their B.B.s about the virus in a way that is helpful and without fear.”

PhD B.B. wears a white lab coat, pink boots with black bows and soles, and a pearl necklace. The doll includes a signature face mask accessory and an MGAE Cares heart decal along with a secret message sticker. The doll will be packed in a signature L.O.L. Surprise! ball with seven surprises for kids to unbox.

The L.O.L. Surprise! x Operation: Pac-Man doll will be available to preorder later this month for $9.99. Details will be published on the MGAE Cares website.

Operation: Pac-Man kicked off with a $5 million donation from the sales of L.O.L. Surprise!, the No. 1 toy brand in the world, according to The NPD Group. To date, MGAE has donated more than 130,000 PPE devices to frontline healthcare workers in over 70 hospitals around the country.
